Hot fix, but no fix

Shame on you and your fix, which by the way is not a fix because night witches bug still works and raid tons of oil per day. I go offline for one hour and when I return 10-15 thousand oil is gone ! Calculate how much oil can someone gather per day with this stupid bug, they only need couple of minutes to take lets say 5000 oil, huge advantage for those who used this stupid bug, and disadvantage to those who didn't. Those who did upgraded everything that you can upgrade with oil considering this stupid bug lasts for weeks. MAKE GAME UNPLAYABLE UNLESS YOU UPDATE IT ! Is it that hard ? Those who use this stupid bug of course they will not update it unless you make them update it. But I guess what matters to you is that you put several new sales packs instead

Yep, my accounts are all still getting hit by night witches. Got a guy in our alliance who has the glitch and simply isn't updating. I wouldn't either. What's the purpose of the update to fix if the update is optional?

Unfortunately it is true . It is akin to asking to change the foundation of a huge building after the construction is done .
If at all they attempt to do it , that would be a hack . And will introduce more bugs .
Eliminating all night witches from the game now seems like the only technologically viable solution.

Just another Nexon/BHG blunder. Pretty much par for the course around here. You would've thought someone on the design team would remember the issues with demolition tactics and resource thievery, since they actually had to alter their effects on resource buildings. Then they craft a unit that you cannot defend against, with no restrictions vs resource buildings, AND overlook a bug in their implementation that makes them everlasting. Why is anyone surprised that they botched the "solution" to this problem ? By the time Night Witches are actually gone, the players may have left first.

Actually, it isn't hard at all. They did this exactly with the 5.5 update. After about 24 hours, if you still hadn't updated, the game wouldn't let you connect until you did.

The hotfix was supposed to fix the night witches but ended up having some other bugs happen that required us to deactivate friendly challenges for the time being.

That's something I have discussed in another thread "HOTFIX is a HOT JOKE" . The take home from that thread being - its only with a major release that they can make the fix mandatory . Since that's not going to happen anytime soon , they can only push a hotfix, which is not technologically capable of forcing every user to update.
Hence , immediate solution would be to wipe out night witches , otherwise wait another couple of months for a major 5.xxx release.

This stupid game... Just had a 5* attack and it only counted 3*. Completed battle, AFTER the battle I started getting spinning circle... 3 stars. My wifi is fine, it's this stupid game. I even used tactics armies... Ridiculous.

That probably just lost us a war. I have never really thought about quitting this game until now.

ETA: I just wrote my first negative review for any app ever at the Play Store. The fact that we're over two years into this and still getting glitches such as these - and nonexistent customer support - just wrecks the experience. I'll certainly not spend another dime on this game, and I may just leave. I've been very patient with this game, but it's getting ridiculous.

Honestly this dev team wouldn't last 5 min in the real non-game world, surprised they have lasted this long in gaming world. The incredible lack of any concern or understanding of how to fix bugs makes it seem like you hire developers who took a C++ for dummies course and thats it. Really I applaud whoevers vision it was to make this game but your execution flat out sucks. Your developer and QA staff (assuming you have one, maybe you don't) should be hugely embarressed at the turd they develop and publish. There is a reason why you will never compete with games like CoC, its because you act like you are in the minor leagues with no desire to move up, only greed to make what you can while you can. I've spent quite a bit of money on this game but that stops now, your company is a joke, its amazing that so many people put up with your bs just because they love this game. A word of advice, you can only push people so far and eventually they'll turn their backs and never look back. I suspect you are dangerously close to losing a lot of loyal players and their money.

Anybody else not receiving war loot after the update? Just completed two won world war and i didnt get any war loot...can anybody help me on how to resolve this? i have emailed customer support and they redirected me to a link which is all korean language with no english translation...apparently my game is linked to the asian server and they cannot help...
