How about a cool down after being attacked several times in a row

Spent awhile dropping medals before bed only to find myself with more medals than I started with before dropping, by 1 troop hit and run. I feel if you are attacked say five times in a row without a treaty an automatic 8hr treaty goes into effect, however if you attack within that treaty it's broken just like any other treaty and the clock gets reset back to 5 attacks in a row.

Its a useful idea as the point of dropping medals is to decrease not increase, maybe introduce something like the war screen whereby you cant just drop troops straight away, that you have to press Next to skip and another button which says something like Attack

Should be three or four. I was hit by two horse raider armies, very small but with the capability to take hundreds of thousands of loot in the hands of a competent horse raider attacker, in four minutes. Luckily, the attackers seemed to be inexperienced with using raider armies. Imagine if I had been hit for 250k gold and food, then four minutes later someone hits me for slightly less - that's infuriating. If we lose that many resources in one attack, we may not have de facto lost, but we most certainly took a loss figuratively.

Totally agree. Nothing worse than going to bed with 70k oil trying to save up for 100k. You get hit for oil and they take a few thousand then quit. And all traps are set off so next raider finds it even easier. By the time you wake up you have lost about 20k oil

You really can't complain about people hitting you with 1 troop to drop medals as I bet it's exactly the same you did to others.

There's nothing stopping you from revenge attacking them either.
