Ideas for the following ages!

We've already heard that the following age will be Industrial and that it will culminate in Space; this next portion is a collection of ideas for what can be done through those time periods. Some of these have been mentioned before so I cannot take credit for all of it. Please enjoy and comment along.

Industrial Age:
  • Oil Pumps, Oil Wells, Oil Refineries. Oil could work as a premium currency for purchasing and upgrading. Pumps could be like farms and caravans collecting the resource, Wells could serve as the storage unit, and Refineries could be the production line for new application of oil with a war troop focus. Items upgraded with oil could take 5 to 8 civilians to complete.
  • Caravans upgrade to Motorized Carts. This type of upgrade could be the first to make use of the oil currency.
  • Dock upgrades to Port. Since the amount brought daily by boat is based on league level this upgrade could serve to have the gold, food, or trade goods brought in more often, twice a day perhaps.
  • Universities. A building to enhance your citizens, it could reduce the time it takes citizens for constructing and upgrading.
  • Factories. A building constructed and upgraded with oil that periodically collects a large food payout.
Modern Age:
  • Apartment Buildings. A building that houses 4 civilians, maybe only one or two should be built.
  • Motorized Carts upgrade to Motorcycles.
  • Roads upgrade to Paved Streets.
  • Port upgrades to Harbor. Instead of increasing the amount or the frequency of the boat visits maybe crowns, oil or selecting multiples can be the new feature.
  • Airports. Building an airport can mean borrowing an extra civilian from a friend to complete updates, this could be regulated with a one or two day cooldown time.
  • Capitol Building. A building constructed and upgraded with oil that periodically collects a large gold payout (taxes).
Science Age:
  • New robotic troops upgrades.
  • Bombs added to the arsenal as the ultimate upgrade to Tactics.
  • Deep Sea Exploration. Send out an unoccupied civilian who will return after a few hours with food or crowns.
  • Underground Exploration. Send out an unoccupied civilian who will return after a few hours with gold or oil.
Space Age:
  • Heroes. Appoint a Hero to serve as an extra defense. At one end of the spectrum the Hero could be super strong but with low stamina and at the other end the Hero could have incredibly high stamina but does little damage to invaders, then the player can build their Hero from any point on that spectrum. Also, players should not be able to make changes to their Hero similar to with Wonders.
  • Rockets. Build with oil to reach new features in the game.
  • Space Exploration. Similar to Deep Sea and Underground Exploration send out an unoccupied civilian who will return after a few hours with food, crowns, gold, oil, or trade goods.
  • Colonize Other Planets. Start a new civilization on far off worlds. This could be like a secondary account that will let you experiment with the other nationalities and Wonders, with all your civilians, funds, and building types available from the beginning, along with a customizable new colored terrain and space age building architecture.

Wow you have a wild imagination dude lol but I think they'll start to put the airports or air units in Industrial Age. You better send this good ideas to Big Huge Games at their email or much better in facebook, they're answering there.
