I completely agree. Museum in war defeats the entire purpose because it requires luck to be good.

Museum in MP is okay, not great, but at least it is not what most use for measuring skill.

I agree. Right now the Missile Silo is the single greatest obstacle for players to experiment with interesting troop combinations and deployments.

Gunners and HT would be murderously bad because the silo would finish off the gunners within seconds and then you're down a third of your army. Remember we have to test and try these out, and unless we are already maxed CWA bases we have to spend the oil that we desperately need to get to CWA trying this out.

The silo has become the largest inhibitor of strategic change right now. The recent changes mean that its just about all HT army's all the time.

This is a great place to point out, that the Marco Polo sale just made "winners" out of lucky players. They got a legendary war artifact that others have no access to. There was no "strategy" involved, just pure luck.

I'm glad you see the inherit problems with hidden artifact and university information. The university was at least a limited quality and known. But artifacts are so varied that in the current war meta I could have the ability to give all defending towers over 60% more HP's if only one level on each artifact matches. It's possible you can get as much as 300% more HP's if each of your items got the right lucky selection and was maxed. But without knowing that going in the game isn't about skill or strategy anymore, just luck.

So please please do something about the war museum, even if it is only publishing the bonus' for the other side.

Good post. It’s funny how many ideas the community came up with to rebalance ww without destroying mp. Of course none of us are trying to force spending.

Persia , yeah for MP loot Raiders are best. That was quite a while when all my troops were raiders and engineers. But then I got bored, cause I had to train other troops for WW, and got frustrated after seeing people's requests I couldn't fill 😒 (I donate to everyone, and raiders are not part of it 😆)
So I always train ready-to-go troops.

PS. They give us sabotage, on catapults is where you should put them 😃

Joe , please understand that my new job as a leader of a top 100 team now involves daily chats to keep my top players and people who have played since the game came out from quitting the game so much so it is a topic that repeats daily 5-7 times , all started around rebalance stage 2 , now with .stage 4 I have to talk people out of quitting about 12 times a day , think of how much fun I must be having there are days I can't even go in game because I'm dealing with half the team wanting to quit . The total rebalance needs to change , the soul of the game we all love to play died the day it was dictacdi to us that we had to switch nations , we had to use specic combos to work , not individuaism at all anymore in the game , is copy this plan , and is boring and now costs 3 times what it did , I get the goal is to make money as this is a business but your Killing the loyal customers you had . Off the top of my head I have seen game wide about 150-200 players ,top players top spenders leave the game.starting in rebalance stage 3 , this has to be fixed faster than the given time table or th game will end because all that will be left is people who don't play competitive and cheaters .

GuvG us something to show why we should consider still playing the game that was taken from us a few weeks ago

Joe talking to the community might have bought you a few weeks. But unless somethings happens real soon I’m afraid it’s point of no return for this game. I suggest you asap put rebalance and museum on hold and deal with all the cheaters.

Seconded. I know their data shows how much gameplay and spending has dropped. I am pretty sure that’s why this thread started. But with the wounds people have incurred there is no amount of lip service that will suffice. Drastic immediate action must take place. Every day someone doesn’t play increases their chance of not returning by ten fold. New games, new hobbies, new shows. I never looked back on any of the games I walked out on and never regretted it for a second.

From my little experience with wars, it should go some way to negate sandbagging as top players would only be allowed to hit other top players, thereby removing the 'easy 5 star' option, no?
Your irons & classical would then have a chance against other bases of a similar age.

Yeah, that’s the downside of having raiders 24/7; troops for the alliance need to be specially made, which is kind of annoying since if you’re trying to give someone cannons, those will probably be fulfilled by the 15-minute time period is up...I haven’t joined an alliance for this specific reason; I don’t want to become dead weight in someone’s alliance.. :D

I wouldn’t exactly call our alliance badass but ok. So let’s say a fictitious alliance of skilled CWA to Global players matches with a beefier alliance of CWA/AA players with 2 Iron Age on the bottom. The first alliance manages to clear the top bases but because they don’t have anything comparable to the 2 irons on the bottom they are automatically penalized 10 points since they cannot attack them. And as usual the sandbagging alliance gets maximum amount of stars possible without need of using the irons at all. In what universe is this fair?
No Manifesto that is not how it would go. From experience I know it will encourage more of the same. May I suggest before commenting about war you play some wars with us and see exactly how broken the matchmaking is? LordStark263AC Mismatches are not fun for either team, Players in heavily favored alliances don’t like having to attack low weight players. It’s no fun and very little reward. But it’s necessary to get the job done.

BHG_Muet i don’t think knowing how many troop tactics are in a stronghold is enough information. There is a huge difference in 4 elephant archers and 4 impis or other marco troop chest card.

I believe we need complete transparency with what we are up against if we are to come up with an effective plan of attack. You already show us what coalitions the opponent has and we can click on them to see what level they are so that is great. We should be able to see exactly what is in the Stronghold and see exactly what museum stat boosts they have for themselves or what stats it nerfs of ours so we can adjust and strategize an effective plan of attack.

Going in blind doesn’t make sense. You mentioned it in one of your posts that you could lose the battle and not really understand why simply because you weren’t aware of the museum artifacts effects - well complete transparency will resolve this and at least give us a fighting chance by being able to actually strategize a plan based on all the information we have. And due to the rebalance even knowing this information isn’t going to guarantee us a five star victory because defense definitely has the advantage over offense right now so we need you to throw us a bone and give us a fighting chance.

I also think we need training time reduced for planes and tactics so that they finish in around the same time as a full army composition and the training blessing should affect planes as well.

The biggest issue with troops and training has always been TIME not resources required....while we appreciate the reduction in resources needed to train our armies a reduction in TIME would be even more appreciated.

agreed. how it almost came to FIVE whole stages of rebalance before they knew something was wrong is just so very hard to believe. they need to do something drastic and it has to be soon. we're not newly into a disease. we are fully in many stages of illness.

Awesome game and thanks for your introduction! I’m a player who likes a challenge, and thought the rebalance was sorely needed and long overdue. Players ultimately quite games when they become boring, and prior to the rebalance, the game was heading down the boring path because it was just too easy to 5 Star an equally matched opponent. In my opinion, 5 star victories should be the exception, not the rule; I was quite pleased with the rebalance! Also, I love the unknowns the Museum and Stronghold adds to the game! They make the battles more exciting and realistic because you go through a discovery process that makes each battle unique. A concern of mine is all the whiners in this forum that complain about any and every change as if the sky was falling. I’m writing this post to you folks so you know there are many players who welcome the rebalance, museum, and stronghold. These added elements and changes made the game more strategic, realistic, and challenging! Thanks again for a great game and welcome!

How about you acknowledge that EAs is all that cause all this imbalance AND using 4 cards in SH on attack. NERF EAs and max of 2 (TWO) cards on off/def would IMMEDIATELY FIX ALL THE friggin mess you guys have got yourselves into. There are other ways to earn peoples money than selling EAs and getting P2W to win wws. BHG_Muet And btw. MUET in french means 'does not talk'. Hope its not premonitory.
