Is your game crashing? Try this...

As nexonm updates and upgrades the game, it gets bigger and requires more resources. When you have lots of buildings, the animations cause a slight lag in game play. The World War may crash causing you to pull your hair out. The game itself may not start at all.

Trust me, Nexonm and Big Huge Games are working on the issue, but it is difficult to make programs smaller and faster when you're adding more stuff to it. The only way they could possibly make it any lighter would be to remove a lot of animations and make the whole thing more blocky and clunky.

Solution: Check your device specs. Make sure you have a decent amount of ram space to run the game. Shut down or stop any unnecessary background programs that may be using ram space. Clear your game cache (not game data). Cache is something else that gets stuffed into ram every time you start the game and may contain old, useless information. The smaller the cache, the less ram space it takes up. CPU or processor speed helps too. If you have an older device, your CPU may not be able to keep up with the game.

I don't have a list of minimum requirements, but if I find one, I'll edit this post so everyone can be more informed. Thank you for reading my posts and thank you for playing Dominations. I hope to meet and defeat you on the battlefield.

Thus far, I have not experienced any crashes that result in losing war attacks. It has crashed a couple times going between the home screen and war screen, but did not result in any loss.

It has tried turning back on after I've turned it off too. On second thought, maybe it is the game itself. The more I read, the more it seems to be a game issue. I've tried bluestacks as well. Not really a fan.

All I can say is, Nexonm offers this game up for free with in game purchases and no advertisements. I guess we get what we pay for in this case. If you know any good programmers, Nexon is looking for resumes. Perhaps this is the cause of much of this trouble. To many cooks?

Whatever the case, can we all agree that this is still a great game despite the faults? Just sayin'...

The game crashes the same rate with bluestacks and 32 GB of RAM. It's not a resource problem, it's the game.

Just so you know, you're not actually accessing all 32 gb's of RAM. Dunno why you would even want 32 GB's lol. 16 is hard enough to fully access.

Ive been playing this game for about 2 weeks now and have had nothing but trouble.
My Galaxy tab smt-700 should be powerful enough to play this game without any issues but alas its having none of it.
Ive done everything Nexon as advised but after a couple of replies they send me a e-mail saying they are not monitoring my e-mail address anymore and i have to put a new ticket it.
They then ask me questions ive already answered before and i feel like im going round the houses with them and its very frustrating.
My issues are with it crashing out on loading and wiping my battery out from over 55% down to 5% .
If my battery is above 70% i seem to get away with it and the game loads.
I have no battery issues with any other app or game so i put all this down to bugs.
If i had not committed to the game by purchasing a starter pack for £7.99 i would have uninstalled it and given it up as a bad job.
But i love this game when its working and ive committed money to it so i want it to WORK.
So hopefully Nexon will sort out these crashing problems in the next update or refund me my money if they cannot sort it out.

Most likely all the developers for mobile games would tell you the same thing, Their games are designed to be compatiable with mobile phones rather than bluestack so they won't care if it's broken on bluestack.

I'm using a Motorola Droid Turbo with 32Gb of storage. My whole phone would fit in Quovatis' ram.

Bluestacks is supposed to simulate a mobile device on a PC. It does OK, but I like the actual device better. As xenon mentioned, these sorts of games do work better on actual mobile devices.

In my experience, Dominations is not one of those professionally polished, PC games that moves super, duper fast. If you try to do too much, too quickly, the game does crash. But, if you slow down and stop when the game stops, it will catch up and keep playing for you. This is just my experience.

One of the biggest problems with programming is, the sheer number of different devices for which to make your applications compatible. It needs to run on iOS, android, and windows. It needs to run on iPhone, iPad, Samsung's galaxies, HTC, nexus, Motorola, etc. Not to mention the constant barrage of software updates and new hardware.

If you or anyone else has "the" solution to the biggest problem in software development, give Nexon your resume. Make the games better for everyone.

Jeffq314 32GB or storage is totally different than 32GB of Ram. Guaranteed your phone doesn't have 32GB of Ram.

However... I don't believe ram has anything to do with the crashes. My phone doesn't crash nearly as much as other people, and it's just a POS Iphone 5s. I believe the game crashes because they want it to crash. If it crashes all the time, they don't have to deal with people using mouse clickers on their computers to keep them logged in all the time. Even though they have measures to stop this.

Just like AI is screwed, they want it to be screwed.
