there has been much discussion about the museum and I see on the map where it will go. From watching the video, the developers talked about it having more content than the university and it will be a big part of the game. When will it come into play? In a week? Few months? An ETA would be great. Thanks! TinSoldier

Tough question. Especially when we don't really know how the museum works out at the moment. Is it a trophy display system that others can get to see if they visit your base? If so, I think it would be cool if it showed off a prominent historical piece for every age you complete. The Wright Flyer would be pretty neat, or Mephisto - the last existing A7V German tank from WW1 which was captured by the ANZACs.

If its only going to be a cosmetic thing to display trophies it doesnt add value to the game. My understanding is its going to be that and some sort of crafting thing. Crafting new units/upgrades would be a nice dynamic change to the game instead of basic research in uni or library.

Agreed!
Please don't tie in worker requirement for the museum. Resources and time should be alright.

Alternatively, tie the progress at the museum to the game-play events, such as number of stars earned in multi-player battles, resources accumulated over time, stars earned in world wars by the player, or, other such game-play based milestones.

I fear that the progress at the museum might get tied to dock expeditions with additional destinations for the museum artifacts (the State of the Nations post says "Museum, which will allow players to gather, improve, and display various artifacts from throughout history"). I hope I'm wrong, because, that will still tie worker requirements indirectly through expedition requirements.

Anyways, fingers crossed, and hoping to hear more about the museum in the coming weeks.

Cheers and happy gaming! :)

Kind of hard for the community to answer that question until you give us more info on how it's supposed to work. We're waiting on that design spotlight.

I truly hope that the museum that is coming soon comes sooner than the Chinese lady in the university that has been coming soon for ages.

Their tone while talking about it during the last twitch stream made it sound like it's still months away from actual implementation. Though I still keep hope that we'll see it in the next update.

Hello Tin, since Marco Polo is quite frustrating these days, we are putting some faith on the museum. I recall playing Civilization where citizens' mood was affected by certain conditions. By visiting museum (like expeditions) you could get advantages for training troops and air units, to expedite upgrades, to get extra mercenaries, to lessen national trade goods for a coalition. Those could be temporary or permanent bonuses.
