Solid Medieval Age layout

This is somewhat of a work in progress still... having somewhat of a case of OCD, the base not only needs to be efficient at defending, but also appealing to the eye. So I'm sharing my design to see what you guys think. I've only been attacked 4 times; 2 victories, 2 star, and a 1 star. None looted no more than 10k food or gold.

Library researched:
10 walls from Ramparts
10 roads from Roadways
1 tower from Watch Towers
1 catapult from Machinery
1 farm & 1 caravan from Crop Rotation & Commerce

Total road bonus is 350%

What's your input on this design?

It looks really solid, especially against knights.
I am wondering how you would do against a horde of infantry (eg. heavy samurai) split into 2 groups of 35.
Each group goes for the catapult first and launches a sabotage, affecting ballista and catapult.
Rest of the troops are crossbowmen to take care of the defenders.

That would be a good challenge. In a perfect scenario (for me, hoping the attacker only has 1 Sabotage), I'd think my 3 catapults are in ideal placements to cover a vast majority of the battlefield, making quick work of the foot soldiers. The Acropolis reaches all of the Garrisons & Stables, which are placed in the 4 corners of the walls as well as the lower part by the Town Center (Colosseum on the upper part obviously), which means as soon as the attacker starts deploying his force, anywhere on the map, he's going to be swarmed from every angle. Quickly I might add ;) Thus distracting the soldiers and creating confusion amongst the enemy, hopefully before the catapults are destroyed so they can finish the job.

That, however, is a perfect scenario and we all know those are few and far between. Ha. If I do get attacked by something like this, I will be sure to let you know how it turns out.

Drop 20 pikemen charge for mill, wait charge cooldown, drop another 20 charge for the other mill. Use heal or sab if needed.

Problem solved.

Food always seem to be plentiful for me, feel free to attempt that if you happen to come across me ;) I always like me a challenge...

Not bad at all! I would farm your town center for a medal with 5 infantry, do a quick re-train and move on, unless I was fully prepared for all-out war and happy to settle for half your available loot!

Hard to improve on! I could wipe out several garrisons before troops were even produced, and you clearly care little about your town center, but those walls are very well-utilized, and the catapults well-placed!

Nice base, even though I dont like bases which do not defend their town center. The way to attack such base is tricky and not all players know how to win without big losses/tactics. You'd need to start with heavy cavalry with some archers from colosseum and unprotected balista, then after some delay attack from the same side where balista stands with soldiers and archers. Hopefully, your first squad will be closer to catapult when balista falls, then you overwhelm.

Same concept, slightly tweaked. Every protected building is now in its own space. Catapult that was by the colo. is now by the tc.

These all look good but the true test is results.
I notice you are only at 441 medals so most of the attackers are pretty weak.
How do you do against gunpowder players?

Once I get back up there with medals I'll let you know, I dropped down so I could loot. I was attacked by an enlightenment age & he barely got 5 stars. General, 2 sabotage & 2 first aid, ballista & supply cart, full merc camp w/ elephant, 45 praetorian guards & 27 arquebusier. That was with 1 of my catapults & ballista towers down too.
