What are Speed Ups?
Speed Ups are consumable items that reduce the time of an action in progress.

What can I use Speed Ups on?
Speed Ups can be used on University and Library researching, building construction and upgrading, Museum Artifact unlocking, forest expansion clearing, expeditions, and Blacksmith research.

How do I get Speed Ups?
Speed Ups can be found in the daily League boat, and Victory Chests. They will also be available in some sales.

What is the Archive?
The Archive is a new building that stores luxury items like Speed Ups. Tap View from the Archive’s action bar to see your Speed Ups.

How do I build an Archive?
Starting in the Iron Age, you can build the Archive from the Economy tab in the Store.

What happens if I use a Speed Up on a building in progress but then cancel the building?
The Speed Up will get consumed when you use it. If you cancel the building, you don't get the Speed Up back.

What happens if I use a Speed Up that finishes an action?
The Speed Up(s) will be consumed and the action will immediately finish.

What happens if I use a longer Speed Up than what is necessary to finish an action? Do I get time back?
No. The entire Speed Up is consumed.

Yes!

They do stack, and you can use multiple at the same time.

I picked up a speed up from the league ship this morning, but I don’t yet have the archive building constructed yet (I need to speed some buildings up lol). Will the speed up I collected be remembered when I build the archive or will it be forgotten......

I'm waiting for the ''l tapped too many speed ups and now I've used them all on one building and the game should've stopped me with a warning'' complaints.

Why do speed ups appear to cost more money than the equivalent number of crowns for the same amount of money?

if my calculations are correct....
the 1 day speedup is too overpriced
the 5 day speedup is a good choice.

Yes, it will appear once you built the archive.

I guess this is the closest thing we'll get to shortening upgrade times, since we can get them from victory and daily chest. I guess that gives incentive to go raiding again for higher rank, chests and victories

It would be nice if you could combine x amount of one type to form a higher tier.
like exchanging 4 one hour cards to a 6 hour card and so on.
