University Siege DPS bonus %?

I've got two levels of Leo done for siege DPS my "clean" artillery had 597 DPS. I currently have 627, which is a 5% boost. However, according to my university screen i should be getting 6%. Anyone else noticed uni research not tracking to what is says it should be? Is this just bad rounding and you actually get 2.5% per step as opposed to 3%?

I assume you have a total of +20% from library research. The uni bonus is only on the base damage, so the true "clean" artillery DPS is 597/1.2 = 498. 498 * .06 = 30 additional DPS. So you are indeed getting 6%.

Thanks, came to that conclusion too. I was under the impression that % uplifts were generally combined in this game, as opposed to from the base number. Clearly not always the case.

Yeah, it's inconsistent. They had to change it a while ago. Before, the French could basically have a 95% reduction in training time because it was additive, so they changed (some) things to be based on the base number instead.

I think it still calculated the same as before, but they just tweak the training blessing value. With training blessing the French get about 60% time reduction compared to other nations. it is 20% without training blessing.
