Genuinely don't think I've so pumped for a new update before. I've been playing less and less since reaching Global due to the EXTREMELY long wait times, but being able to grind 2 resources instead of one for walls sounds fantastic.

I honestly don't know why they don't reduce the time stuff takes when they add more ages... I mean, at this point it's as good as impossible for someone starting the game to ever reach the high ages. They'd need to play for years

I don't know why we can't just stack multiple sets of workers per project. If I want to put 16 workers and 24,000,000 food on an IA barrack to reduce the build times from eight to two days, what's the harm? 24,000,000 food would still take a while to get. I'd still have two more barracks and countless other buildings to upgrade. More options are never a bad thing.

Everyone is sooo excited about food for walls.. So excited they forget that this will be a real moneymaker fo Nexon.
Ppl will be even more tempted to buy troop cards to get 5 star in war and even coin more to get the national trade goods for coals in PvP.....

Why? All people already have the highest level walls. Cheaters hackers everywhere. We normal players cant evet get 9+ walls so dont get tired, people will do it in their way. It s goddamn funny that people say great well done etc. Lol. Are we playing the same game? Or you all cheaters or what? Anybody playing this game in a normal way can see that the game is not doing good. I dont have the will to play anymore. I'm in atomic age 153 level playin tihs game for more than 1,5 years and i have level 8 walls. 1 wall upgrade 1kk gold and the next is 3kk ) how come? and you act like everything is ok. whenever i try to attack someone, highest level walls and defences in low levels and when someone attack me with heavy tank mk 4 and fighters mk 6 same level as me ) no cheaters right?

I probably don't understand the excitement over this option to upgrade walls using food, but, I'll probably not push my views on this topic

Just my observation: the introduction of helicopters has invalidated the importance of walls. With helicopters flying over and shooting over walls, it probably matters less how upgraded the walls are.
I had to attack a maze layout in war, and I was surprised how manageable it was with helicopters in my troop mix.
To helicopters, walls don't exist

Eh lol, you're doing something very wrong if you got only lvl 8 walls in 1,5 year of playing, and you know very little about this game if you think everyone with lvl 9+ walls is a cheater.

Well, they did just make helicopters more vulnerable, if I understand correctly (the patch note is a bit vague) garrison defenders can now attack helicopters. I don't know if that will help much though.

I'm afraid i have to side with Veldan on this one. Sure its a grind to get the level 9 walls but you dont have to cheat to get there. If you really push you can upgrade all level 8 walls to level 9 in about 3 weeks, and this is doing about 5 walls a day. Another thing i would point out is you're a 153 atomic age... sounds like you rush a little, considering you are only 20 levels ahead of me and I'm 2 ages behind you.

Broken, just used food to upgrade walls and instead of using food it took me into the negative on gold.

If you have an error when upgrading your walls, contact support. Also, it seems you must have the required gold amount or it could cause this error. It will still take the food.

I had almost no gold, it put me negative 5 million gold. My food is still over 6 million.
