My tc is Korean atm, but Ive heard the Germans are best, is this true?

Most nations have their own strengths, but not all (I'm looking at you Greeks) and it is mostly a matter of play style and preference. I personally use the Romans because I have even more flexibility in my army build to try new things.

What's your main focus, war? British, German, Korean are equally great armies.
Medals and resources? French and British are the best. French fast training especially on TB is really something, allowing you to loot more per hour. British 15% extra loot is very nice as well.

Chinese comes after the 3 top nations, it's good in wars where you always use mercs. Roman comes last, everyone i know who switched from roman to German, korea, british, reported a better performance in both areas (war and mp). Better off French then Roman, with 8 less troops but 3 times faster TB and better tanks.

Japanese and Greeks are bad, really really really bad. Greeks have like 50min free building time over a 12days upgrade? and Light tanks aren't suppose to do high damage, they're suppose to take some beating while the others are doing all the damage and even with the extra 25% they're still not good against walls and HTs and get shattered by AT like other tanks.
Japanese doesn't really have anything to offer for war nor mp.

I used japanese, french, german. Japanese was a disaster, French is nice because of the fast TB. German army is farrrrr more superior then french army but i'm always stuck on oil since i don't play more then 2 hours per day and don't buy crowns, beyond 2 hours i guess you're good.

German is the best nation for players with no patience for lone rangers or wayward troops who like to wonder off and do his own thing in battles.

in IA, British shooter Black Watch has a big jump in power, so they are probably the best. Extra range is more powerful than extra damage. It opens a new way of war. (but the Koreans is close thanks to extra tactics)

in Global, howitzers is King, many use more arty than before so the different between between shooters is less relevant. French is more prefer if you don't stand the time to build those howitzers, and French is always the best in defense thanks to donated troops. German advance more on the top of attacking powers thanks to extra boost on factory units, and extra attack on barrack troop as well. (15%+ for howitzer is 37% more than 15% + for IA arty)

But it is not automatic that German is better than French in attacking. You may get faster resource with French, let you research the key techs early and have better troop earlier. Also if you are in lower age, you can receive more donated howitzer with French.

I play China, so I'm just going to highlight Chinese strengths, I don't know if it's the best nation or not, I'm not going to go there.
In wars, 3 Flammpanzers give massive advantage over others. I've had battles where most troops got wiped out by artillery, just to score 4-5 stars with 3 of these beasts and an airplane and zeppelin alone. Chinese riflemen are excellent at taking out high level generals and heavy tanks, thanks to faster firing rate. But all that can be negated by stupid AI - still not fixed.
On defense, if you have Kremlin and farms close to town center, it can be painful to get swatted by over 30 defenders.
In regular gameplay, that extra worker is handy, right now, during tower event, you could upgrade 5 towers at a time in IA. Other than that, Chinese are an average nation I'd say.

Lets not underestimate romans with 6 HT MK2s and 3 triplane MK3s . The best part , they don't give a rabbit's pancake about howitzers coming from TC

Well, if we are talking about a maxed out attacking troops then in WW British is the way. Not saying that the other three (Koreans, French and Germans) are much worse but its far more easy to get the job done.
The thing is, that you can come quite near with the other 3 when you have enough British allies, who can donate you the krrs/bws.

So basically when looting resources - French is the way. For WW British but if you have enough British active allies Koreans, Germans and French are very near.

I seem to like the Koreans, have been with them for months now, they have great range too.. but on the howitzer thing... yeah really notice from the end of even the EA how deadly they are. A break in a wall with all troops entering at once can be totally wiped out by one shot. Sadly Ive had this happen more than twice, its such a let down

Question: Is it better to have the Germans with the Brandenburg Gate?

Question: Is it better to have the Germans with the Brandenburg Gate?

At this time the Factory units in IA and below is weak and in Global with some boost they are still questionable. The all heavy tank army look cool but you cannot earn more oil with that, because one HT killed will set you back 1000 oil. I see some use only 1 mk 3 HT with barrack army now. With that the Brandenburg will be wasted, compare to that Statue of Liberty boost 4 aircrafts.

Imo the only nation worth the BG and HTs is Romans. I use three of them with a couple of regular tanks and archers/arties. Germans with win bonus are uber strong and easy to control - no need for BG.
