A question about Terra Cotta Army.

As it's not particularly explained well anywhere. Can the units that you deploy with it's daily come as unique units if they are your nation's unique unit? For example if you're British and deploy Terra Cotta Army the 10 shooters will be brit unique or will they just be generics? I'd also assume the 20% bonus hp to castle also stacks with the 10% technology bonus you can research. That would be pretty good considering it more than increases the health of the castle/fort by a quarter for a 30% bonus. Shame though I'd happily trade up the barracks hp for more castle/fort hp bonus. All the other wonders for that age are pretty solid but Terra Cotta feels like the underdog of it's group.

Also how does the heritage technology play into this wonder besides the tier 4 part reducing the daily cooldown by 2 hours?

Yes, the units you get with the terracotta army include your nation's unique unit. I have Romans and am in EA and I get half pretorian fusiliers, and half musketeers. The HP bonus to castle and barracks also adds up to the technology bonus available from the library...

It's been mentioned before in some other threads. Can't remember which one tho. Can't input any knowledge on this. Never had them before. ☺

Try searching in the search box above.

It's generic like garrisons, stables, collosseum etc.

Well that's a bit underwhelming for any nation that isn't Greek or French. Having +10 of your unique unit from Terra Cotta would have been nice for the other nations, as I had some intention of testing it out with my British alt account that hit Classical Age. I do still see some merit in that Terra Cotta can be self-sufficiently placed far away from other wonders as long as it's near your castle (which is usually something you don't try to keep near another wonder defence anyways) for that +20% hp bonus ontop of the Citadels lvl 3 upgrade for 30% bonus. Basically making the Castle tankier than a Castle one age up. Colosseum come IA is pretty much worthless for defending as it dies to a bombing run in one go, but Terra Cotta buffing your Castle/Fort means it can be even peskier to kill without a tactic to take care of it.
