Current Event not giving discounts

The current event should be giving 50% training and 33% troops costs discounts. This is great but all day today mine hasn’t showed up and I’ve tried everything from clearing cache to reloading game. Is anyone else having this problem? I’ve contacted CS but no reply yet.

The current Carnaval do Brasil Event gives a discount when you are upgrading your units in the Blacksmith. They will still cost the same to train in the Barracks. The training time should be reduced as well - is there a specific troop (or troops) we can double-check for you?
