It's great that you're addressing all these questions about wars, which have been a sore point with lots of people for a long time. However, we play the game in MP in order to progress, upgrade, earn rss, etc, etc. This is the bread and butter, so to speak, and many players are asking for rollbacks to the recent defensive 'rebalances'.
So my question is a simple one: are you planning to reverse or modify any of the recent defensive boosts from the rebalances?
You mentioned adding more power to offense and while I would be happy enough to simply reverse the troop boosts, which would be giving us back some power, I know lower ages would appreciate additional reversals.
Is this something you're planning?

Wow! I haven't log into the game or forums for about a month. Today i was just curious to see if the game still exists. And what a surprise! Lead designer coming down to the forums, to talk with the mortals. Same mortals who cryed for years complaining about cheats, bugs, inbalances and never have been heared, answered, taken seriously.
Can you imagine how bad things are with BHG/Nexon?
I'm passed the phase when i would have questions or advises. I think this move came too late. Me and many like me already spent all the money, patience and trust this company could milk from us.

You said the T word - trust. I can't see how Nexon will ever get it back. Doesn't matter what they do to fix this they're long odds to get the faith of the players back and ultimately, that will just make this a slower death.

For those who poured money into the game, unfortunately, the money you put was in exchange of something that you got. You can't claim for the game to stay the way it pleases you, even if you have the right logic and such, this parameter does not matter. The game is the only property of BHG and at any moment they can do whatever they want. That's the rule, unfortunately or not. So, if they want to reinforce the defense like crazy, that's their right and nobody can complain against that. If they want to turn the game into a P2W, that's their right. I have seen so many games following this path over the time, or even to been abandoned by the developers themselves, that there is nothing that can be done against this. You put money into the game, in a way that's too bad for you if your expectations are beyond what you have right to. If you don't want to be hurt, don't put money or feelings into virtual stuff. It would be nice to have a trusty relation with a company, but that's not how it works in reality.

If they state they will not resort to P2W and do exactly this later this is false advertising/claims. I am sure 80% of the population would not have bothered playing the game if the game was advertised a P2W or a F2P with a possibility of changing the model to P2W at short notice.

I joined Big Huge Games not long before we started rolling out the rebalance. I’ve been diligently tracking each stage, evaluating your feedback and reviewing data with our analytics team and combat designers. Based on that data and your feedback, we’re taking the following actions:

We’re cancelling Stage 5.
We’re going to schedule some events to reduce the cost of transitioning to the new army compositions and strategies.
We’re evaluating and testing changes to give a little power back to offense and make attacking more fun.

Does that answer your question? I think it's beyond that stage Manifesto. It is pretty clear to me this won't be reversed.

Manifesto : of course you can express you deepest feelings of being abused by Nexon, it is just - how can I turn this - don't lie to yourself in thinking you have any sort of rights. First of all, warm welcome to Domination community. If u just read recent comments, dont worry we are not that vicious, just really care for the game.

It is good to know that BHG/nexon listen to fans, i just hope it is not too late because the boat has sailed for alot of people.

Finally, i read from ur resume... it seems you are quite into RPG both work and hobby. Is that the direction Domination gonna go forward?

I’m at a loss for words to express my disappointment today.....logging into the game , a game that has been almost destroyed by the far too strong defensive boosts .....what do I see...a discount on upgrading walls ( which were going to be the focus of stage 5 ....seems stage 5 hasn’t actually been stopped after all , just made a payable part of the rebalance project ), a chance to buy more defensive stuff, including a defensive Flame thrower building .....who asked for more defensive buildings to destroy attacks ?
Okay, so the defensive buffing is still going on despite most of the reactions being that defensive buffs were already way too much .

A few small sops to offensive stuff, for expletive who have plenty of loot or crowns ... like the chance to buy an upgrade to Machine gunners or HT mk7 at a discount ....not a natural buff but a chance to buy with loot or crowns etc....and something that will takes weeks to complete , so you only get the chance to do one or two at most before the offer ends as each takes over a week ......
meanwhile the defensive stuff applies immediately because it a money buy .
oh, and you can also spend money on troop cards on the way to getting the flamethrower building .....well thanks , but no thanks ...I’m not spending any more on the game to buy troops that will die before getting anywhere much in one or maybe two attacks.....

you can can also spend real money on the crown dock , which is offering double the usual rate .....but still not enough to do much with ....and I’m not spending on that either

I am already upgrading to a HT mk7 , so that’s useless to me ...upgrading the Machine gunner ( with a derisory range of 3 )is also pretty useless as he only really takes on Foot troops ...not so much the multitudinous tanks that defend bases ...he can fire over walls , which is no big deal now that building have been boosted by 259%.......so those sops are meaningless to my bases .

All the talk about some intent at remediation of the rebalance stages seems to be just that ...Talk !
I mentioned in other posts that I thought we needed to see some follow through on this chatter pretty quickly to show good intentions had some basis in fact ...but if this is the follow up to the chatter , then nothing of the discontent has really percolated to the BHG team ...there is no rethink , no addressing real problems , just nice words and carry on as usual.

I would be be willing to spend again on this game if I thought there was some serious rethinking going on ....if this sort of thing constitutes a rethink , then I have a very different definition of what constitutes any sort of rethink in the direction the game is going............. for some reason I expected a new rebalance that took the game back a few stages to make it more playable .....not simply another scam as a way to get people to spend money ......how stupid do they think we are exactly ?...how much do they think we can’t live without this specific game ..there are other games out there !

So , BHG will continue to have had the last of my cash ...I’m not willing to be juped by false promises .....let the game die , I don’t profit from it , it has only ever cost me money , but no more , this really is taking the piss and rubbing people’s noses in the result .

For anyone who is happy with this , and thinks it addresses the problems , I’m happy for you ...enjoy !

BHG_Muet I have a comment/suggestion regarding the World War Hall.

After a spirited session of crafting last night, I was excited to do a bunch of upgrades to the artifacts I had in my war hall. To my disappointment, upgrades to hall artifacts were locked for 24 hours because a war had just started (that I was not even a participant in). This is inconsistent with the rest of the game and really killed my momentum. I understand why you can't swap artifacts during war, but why prevent upgrades to them? You could easily lock in the stats at the beginning of the war but continue to allow upgrades (that will become active in the next war). I hope you will take this under consideration. Thanks.
