Space age targets after DA drops

Straight forward question, once digital age drops, will space age players still be able to attack atomic age players?

its been one of the quiet surprises, both when Cold War dropped that attacking two ages down was possible, then losing that when space age came out. It would be nice for it not to drop as a surprise to the community this time and avoid half a dozen threads complaining about it.

Consider this part of the pro active engagement I suggested needed to happen more?

Cheers,

Alt

I consider this to be regular occurence. The top age gets to attack 2 ages down (so to avoid have too small pool of bases), and once a new top age comes out, the previous age returns to the -1/+1 age rule.

This one thing doesn't require a lot of communication in my view

Once isn’t a regular occurrence, removing the ability to attack down 2 ages. You are assuming and how often have players assumed and been proven wrong by bhg? The pool of CWA+ players isn’t especially large so it’s a question worth asking. Your right though, it doesn’t require a lot of communication, a yes or no will suffice.

It was twice. First with CW then again with SA AND it's been confirmed already.
If you're SA then forget about AA, man up and attack harder bases.

Once, when space age came out the ability to hit two down was removed from Cold War. It wasn’t removed from atomic when Cold War came out, seeing as we’re being pedantic. If I’d seen it confirmed do you think I’d be asking? Try being more helpful like Exiliado.

My space age account will be fine, thanks. It’s for my atomic I’m more interested in, I don’t feel a rush to go Cold War and be the smallest fish in a very small pool. I can happily wait to be closer to lvl 244 and be in striking distance of archeology before going up a couple of ages in an age rush. Nothing about Cold War gives major benefits like that.

Back in the old days, when there weren’t enough targets then the game just broke players’ treaties at random. Just saying.

The first time +1/-2 rule was introduced was when CW came out. When SA was introduced +1/-2 applied to that age instead of CW. That makes TWO times the rule was introduced.
Can you count?

He'll have to do it sooner or later. The sooner he (and others) start, the better they'll be.

One, two, three, four, five, once I caught a fish alive. Seems I can count.

My question was about the removal of being able to hit 2 ages down, not the introduction of the ‘+1,-2 rule’, which has only happened once with the advent of space age. Even if it had happened twice, it still would hardly go down as a regular occurrence.

The board would be much improved if you put as much effort into helping people as you do trolling them.

Hope you are not actually expecting a response .....they don't do that that would be insanity if they cared enough to talk to the people who make their paycheck possible.
