Yes thanks, I am getting a response from CS. But their response doesn't do anything for the medals being lost. I am being unfairly and effectively banned from my League and separated from competing with my gaming peer group :(

Ha, I just got a reply from CS saying sorry for your loss but suck it up. No compensation for you because you've had this bug before. Down 150 medals in dynasty league, millions of resources stolen, trade goods, trap resets, generals in cooldown, etc...

In other words, quit playing, what do we care. Nice customer support really. If you just want the leaderboard to be lead by cheaters, it's well done. Legit players will never be able to compete.

Based on comments so far, these issues seem to be the biggest contributors to top medals game being unplayable:

1. Peace treaties that break
2. "No opponents" message after you reach Empire
3. No defense victories due mainly to player force quit / crashing
4. Top Players that never seem to log off

Did I miss any?

Cheaters that attack with kitchen sink every battle. And cheaters with maxed defenses. Minus the people who spent $10k on this game for reals

I don't find the cheat attacks to be a real barrier to the top medals play. When you consider the hours per medal value of peace treaties (when they work), a 100% defeat is fairly competitive with the lesser treaties. Cheat attacks cost a lot in frustration and maintaining fair play, but these other issues seem to have a much more direct impact on the top medals game. Am I off on that?

It looks as though the top player has retired, and also seems to be having great success at retaining all 3,808 medals. I wonder how that works?

I think cheating players that are low in medals are definitely a barrier to top medals play. When cheaters can 5 star your base for maximum medals it completely nullifies your defense from preventing additional stars, regardless of whether its done with 50 heavy tanks, 6 generals, or a single zeppelin. Combined with the broken peace treaty, I'm sure you can see why cheat attacks completely discredit the leaderboards and chasing medals.

As an aside, I'm not sure why cheating players are being given 1 day bans as if they are free 1-day peace treaties. If other players have previously reported them, they shouldn't ever even be in the game's multiplayer, let alone on the leaderboard where they can laugh at the honest playing plebs dropping like flies. There's a permaban for a reason.. not sure why it's instead used on forum contributors like Redgar, rather than the actual in-game cheaters killing this game.

Among the three attacks the cheapest 16h peace treaty comes from the -25 medal hack attack. At 38min of protection per medal, that's the same as an 8h treaty for -13 medals, which isn't bad at your league. These cheaters are frustrating, but numerically they aren't a major cause for the top medals game being unplayable. If peace treaties worked. When peace treaties work?

When i go to bed i dont need more than 8 hr treaty. Anything over that is pure medal loss when i wake up and want to play

When i have a meeting at work anything over 4 hrs pt is pure medals loss

It is useful to be able to get 1-2 str losses and these cheaters are crashing the party at maximum medal losses suffered

That's true when you aren't chasing top medal rank. One 5-star loss to a hacker is less medals lost than several 1-2 star losses overnight because of broken treaties. For the top medals game, the hack attacks are the lesser of two evils.

Agreed lesser of 2 evils. But i do prefer 8 hr peace treaties. Less wastage. Or even 4 hour 1 star treaties. But that also means tc is getting hit more often so more diamonds lost.

These 5 star cheater attacks are costing extra medals even at lower levels because u either break peace treaty(and waste the medals that were burned achieving a 20 hr pt) or dont play and lose the medals u can earn

I've not seen 4h treaty except for broken treaty. Japanese treaty bonus bumps 16h treaty to 20h. As debuk said though, not so useful when treaties break or your play time comes before expiration.

I was under impression its 4h per star? Most of mine are 2 star 8hrs thoughs. So i could be wrong about 4hrs per star

The minimum peace treaty length is 8h.

1 or 2 stars is 8h.
3 or 4 stars is 12h
5 stars is 16h

Japanese get 25% extra length i.e 10h, 15h and 20h respectively.
