cos_pi Well they have obviously no intention of separating between the two. With missile silo working in MP without limitations, university capstones like hold the gates also working in MP, it's pretty obvious that the majority of the playerbase gets their diamonds & NTGs for wars from abandoned or rushed bases, and even trying otherwise would lead to frustration. As it is right now, you make wars tougher - you make MP tougher.
Loonies
Rewards at 3-4 star victories are more of a consolation prize. Non-guaranteed diamond and severely reduced chance of getting 2 NTGs, not 3. Along with your whole army dying, unless it's the case of missing QV.
I am really interested in the methodology with which you can supply an Atomic age account in war, every 3 days (with a day break between wars) with 12 diamonds and 54 NTGs for every war, just with partial victories and expeditions/victory chests.
We can even assume that 50% of wars will be mismatches with no need for coallitions, getting these resources every 6 days would be a stretch as well.
Manifesto Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't participate wars? Either way, smooth sailing in MP for you. Attacking your base without an assortment of decoys would be suicide, along with something to distract your silo, most likely merc tank destroyers. Sounds like a war attack to me. What do you get in return? Same NTG reward as attacking an abandoned base, probably more raw resources (not oil), net loss in diamonds because of the mercs, probably lost planes, huge retrain time for tactics and those planes and possibly the attack will just flop and you lose it all. Incentive to attack your base head-on chasing stars? Basically 0.
This comes as a benefit to being among the first to start the game and a disadvantage of new players, that issue was discussed earlier so let's not continue here.
Finally, just because the decoy tactic is arguably OP, doesn't mean that defenses haven't swinged to the very strong side as well. There's no excuse to give defense huge buffs just because there exists a tactic that distracts them completely, heck, just buffing defense stats doesn't do a lot to prevent this but just further pushes decoy as the only tactic choice.
