What is the point of Oil Refinery Level 3?!

Oil Refinery Level three takes your oil storage capacity from 135,000 to 170,000.

Now to the best of my knowledge...

NOTHING falls in between 135,000 - 170,000 in oil to upgrade...

That is my point... all global upgrades that require oil all require Oil Refinery Level 4 to hold the required capacity... so why did they add in an extra level that is useless and time consuming...

Can you blame them for trying to squeeze more crowns out of us...lol

But I do agree on the uselessness of having a lvl3 refinery at the current stage of the game.

Probably they already have plans for new items to be addes on in GA that will require upgrades at that range later on. Just like the command post.

Another possibility are the troops or generals' upgrades. Which will later on I presume will all change to oil for upgrades. They did mention that food and gold are great for the earlier ages... but later ages will require oil. ( or something like that...can't remember the exact words lol)

If you're getting your oil raided, it's good to know that upgrading the oil storage would result in less oil per hit from attacking troops.

Yup this game, like most "pay to play" games are based purely on patience and they know most of us most the time arent. Its clever really.

Maybe it's so that you can collect and have that much oil by the time the 2nd upgrade is done. If it was just one upgrade that took a really long time, you would have to start collecting from IA max instead of Global refinery upgrade #1 max.
