Who's responsible for that stupid pop-up ads?

I just logged in; if you want people to stop playing your games, putting stupid pop-up ads on top of the screen is a good way tto start.

I have never seen a pop up ad in this game ever

I found out the Ads were coming from GOOGLE PLAY. I had to shut off all game notifications. The weird thing is, I NEVER turned them on; they must have updated Google play, and used "yes" as the default answer.
