At 20$ I'd grudgingly buy it but probably not give it another thought afterwards as I really enjoy the game. At 50$ the price tag is 4 or 5 times too high and feels like a punch in the groin. Thanks but no thanks, I'll pass.

New upgrade sucks!!!! Estate is damn too expensive

Why in the world someone will buy 3 citizens for $50 ? This update doesn't make any sense and if you 'Nexon' really want to sell this, you should have lower your price to atmax $20.

Because there are angry kids with rich daddy's credit card on file that don't give a crap about how much something costs.

Absolutely, it is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for nothing. I won't spend my hard earn money on something that stupid. Seriously, whoever is the product manager of Dominations, should be fired.

On the UK Google Play App store, Dominations is ranked as the #130th most grossing game. Why was there a need to do this? surely Nexon is already making enough money out of the game?

If we now have to pay $63 for a house, what's next? Pay only permanent heroes, defense structures, troops, buffs?

After thinking on this a bit there are 3 major issues going on here. The first is that at $50 U.S. there simply isn't enough value. 3 workers are valuable, but the price tag is over the top for a majority of the player base.

The second issue relates to the first, and basically is that as a paying customer I don't feel appreciated. I've spent over 100$ in the year or more I've played the game, but I don't see or feel any good will between Nexon and myself due to this issue. Unfortunately this feels like a piracy update, and for all the wrong reasons.

Last is the inability to acquire the building through other means. If it opened up in later ages, or was otherwise acquired through game play then fine, however that isn't currently the situation.

TLDR; it's too expensive, the playerbase feels taken advantage of, and there are no alternate means of aquiring the structure through normal gameplay.

I don't care about feeling appreciated, but I agree with your other points. The value is not there for me and it would have been nice to attain it in-game somehow (you can make it ridiculous! Just allow it.)

The spinning wheel of death problem
the WW sandbagging issue
the cheater issue
app crash issue
All the above haven't been fully fixed yet. And now Nexon decides to introduce another problem called "pay to play" to make the game even more imbalance.
Well done, really.

Oh don't get me wrong I'm not a feelings person either, but as a member of this community that is my observation.

Does anyone have links to other Dominations forums? I'd like to see what kind of blowback they are getting for this.
I already see some beef on facebook.

While I agree with all of you that this is way too expensive, I don't think this unbalances the FTP and PTP players. It's not a defensive/offensive building. It allows you to progress faster, but once you get there you are no more powerful than someone who progresses slower. The starter packs did the same thing. You got extra workers who helped you progress faster.

You see what they'll do now after all this negative feedback is for the next 'update' the estate will (might) have a crown cost therefore ****ing off all the players who previously paid for it causing another uproar! (Crown cost or for Atomic age?) Any bets??

"you get there", that's the thing though isn't? you're never going to get there. More and more is being added that require workers, who knows what will be added next. How many workers is Atomic Age going to require? and presumably there's still Space Age after that.

I guess you forgot about University research and Atomic age coming this year. Oh, add expeditions that require workers too. We need more workers badly, but not at that cost.

The way you announced the Estate make all players think it would be another regular building using gold and workers to get. What a disapointment!!

Bro u r saying they don't make enough profit so they are adding houses for 50$?
Look at all those lvl 198 bases with max walls can u tell me how much they have spent to get those upgrades in this short time? Specially if a 100$ crown pack wouldn't make u progress 5% of global age?
See how they added a 4755484 years upgrades in university so cash spenders rush to maximize them?
It's ok if they want only cash spenders to play their games, they will play aganist abandoned bases see how fun this is gonna be
This game is making money without effort, they don't pay any effort to fix their game bugs or their stupid AI they stopped doing that for long times
All they just do every update is some visual bugs and text fixes with new features that consume more $$$$ for their pockets so good luck funding this crap

So by the same token the Starter Pack and Starter Pack II also unbalance the game?

The only reason why they do this is that game is falling and they r trying to get the most profit out of it before the journey ends
in my guess this won't be the last time they add in game features exclusively for premium players this is just the beginning, the beginning of the end of course :)

Unless the price is made reasonable in the next week or so I'm going to quit due to the estate. I don't mind paying the game company because it's a great game...

50$ is to much for something that can cripple you for not buying it.
