I think I'm playing the game wrong

This guy joined my alliance a few days ago in the classical age and is near max EA now. Boy, he must know what he's doing.

He left after we questioned his fast progress and claimed he spent $1.4k to get to max MA.

It's all about the wall of fruit trees. They give you powers when used in that configuration for that purpose.

Maybe he really spend money to achieve that. If he really cheat, we would not see the middle GA base right?

I think he may be trying to avoid being detected by doing it more gradually. No way anyone is going to spend that many thousands on a game. I tried reporting him to CS but I can't upload the screenshots for some reason.

People spend far more than that in this game and others. I don't, but many do.

Oh, and my guess is that this guy isn't a cheater. Just new to the game, unskilled at the moment, and wealthy.

Again, this is my guess, and I could be wrong.

(It's nice to see another alliance with zero tolerance for cheating. Your leader/council could ask to see a receipt next time. We've done so, and other alliances have as well.)

That's whats wrong with the world today, we don't give people the benefit of the doubt. He could 100% be legit and spending tons of cash. But because Nexon has a shit security feature, people like you automatically assume he is cheating.

For one, if I was going to cheat, I wouldn't join an alliance. I would max my base out then join an alliance. If i spent 1.4k upgrading my base and you accused me of cheating, I would leave your alliance to.

The cheaters are getting smarter. We always check their bases when they join. If they have max walls we always ask how they have max walls. Now it is even harder with indestructible walls and buildings.

Actually, that's unfair. I didn't automatically assume they were cheating but there were other things that didn't add up. I watched their base and another co-leader questioned them about the fast progress. We have a zero tolerance on cheating and we're going to make sure we're not associated with people that cheat.

Lol; regardless, either a cheater that we don't want, or a super noob slowly, oddly, maxing their base with absolutely zero skill or desire to gain skill, which we also don't want.

There was, very clearly, something off about this individual, which was observed by four separate council members exactly at the time the oddities were occurring.

We don't tolerate cheaters either. We had a guy maxed out joined us, and I asked him about his base. He said he was British and gets lots of loot. I sent a message to Ironangel and he confirmed he was cheating. They banned him (or at least I hope so because he disappeared from our alliance without being kicked).

I'm just saying there are honest people out there. And who's to say he didn't have some sort of skill? Or didn't plan on gaining some at some point? Not every player is going to be OMFG good like us. LOL. I dunno, I still believe in the human race.

Lol, ofc! After all I'm not getting paid to investigate this nonsense- CS is; so if our entire council doesn't feel right about something, we'll move on and send the reports to the hired investigators.

My guess is half the people in this forum work for Nexon because why else would people still be discussing cheating in this game as if it were an issue that Nexon is interested in fixing? Especially when all the history shows that Nexon loves cheaters and fully supports them.

The problem in this game is not, as someone said, that people assume others are cheating before giving them the benefit of the doubt. That is not was is ruining this game.

What is ruining this game are the actual cheaters and the fact that there numbers have been increasing daily while Nexon does virtually nothing to stop it.
