What is the deal with infinite chests being able to be opened?

can you share what are the issues?
plus, the Present Workshop should have been 8 hour cycle but i need to wait 12 hours for next present. is that one of the issues?

The Present Workshop had been listed as being present on your base for nearly a year. It should have produced presents every 12 hours. (the 8 hour listing is a text error.)
The Present Workshop was impacting what was inside other Mystery Boxes.

I apologize for the drip of information. We are in the process of investigating, and will check in with information as it continues to become available.

I completed my events and when I went to collect the reward the event was gone. I don't see it any longer. Contacted the customer service team. Just wanted to know will we have to complete the completed events again or when you fix it we will get the rewards. A clarification on this issue would be really helpful.

Did you use the infinite chest bug to complete the event? Did you get many high level troop cards? Do you think you should just keep quiet and hope they don't take them away, like rest of us ?

What about progress that has been made? Is that still being tracked? I bought chests that I already opened from Marco, for this event.. will they still be counted?

No absolutely not. I thought that was the mystery box that created those troop cards. If it was bug I am more than happy to give them all back. They are free to take it away with all my consent and to authenticate my point I am writing this on the forum. Unfortunately you didn't understand what I asked. I only wanted to know what's going to happen next with the event. Because to start that event I did purchase boxes from Marco polo and it costed me the rubies I earned in wars. So if you are talking about being fair then let's take every aspect into count. As for the mystery boxes I already said I thought they were gifts from the present workshop and now after coming here I realize it was a bug. Hope I have made myself understood. Thanks.

Yeah, if they do take away the free cards, they need to refund me the cost of the chests I bought with crowns/rubies that didn't contain what they said they would.

Lots of people unable to open chests in their inventory now, chests that were bought with rubies and crowns. That needs to be fixed or they need to be compensates

I don't understand why you have a problem with a developer - who must make a profit to stay in business and keep the game going - who introduces PW elements into a free-to-play game? Programmers gotta eat too, bro.

Ok, so I understand a bunch of people started today’s Event and found themselves getting a lot more than they bargained for. Whether this can be described as - damn fine luck; or exploiting a bug is not for me to call. What I can say with certainty is I haven’t received, or placed a Workshop. Neither have I received any glitched gifts.

I do appreciate that the bug was quickly picked up; and will undoubtedly be fixed. However, I fail to understand what is meant by “compensation plans”. I have absolutely no doubt I will be more than a little ‘peeved’ if I discover such plans are directed towards those who clearly ‘prospered’ from the unfortunate bug.

All I want see is a level playing field. But as it stands, all I’m reading appears to be pointing to people keeping hundreds of free Troop Cards; and potentially being compensated in preference to those who clearly haven’t prospered. Hmmm...I hope I’m completely off target TinSoldier

Because it kills the game for everyone who doesn't pay or pays less. You're acting like it either has to be P2W or have no purchases at all. It is much less black-and-white than this. No, the programmers will not starve if they don't make the game P2W, they just need to balance it so that players are still equal.

It is also the holidays and the smartest people in the world make mistakes so let’s give Nexon a little slack.

The damage isnt as bad as the previous poster suggested as the people were not actually getting the correct chest. The chest was giving 2 cards and only one was a troop card. The bug was also fixed in under 2 hours and the chest reappearing was not instant. So no one out there has hundreds of immortal cards.
