Believe it or not, i really liked the current winter upgrade discount events

and i have been spending crowns to speed up the upgrade time, especially on Oil... so far i have done following:

* 3 Levels of Bunkers (1 bunker 2 lvl, and another 1 lvl), so saving is around 300K oil

* 2 Levels of Missile silo, let's say 200k saving

* 1 heavy tank upgrade, 100k saving

* 1 bomber upgrade, 35K saving

* 1 fighter upgrade, 40k saving

* 1 transport upgrade, 35k saving

plus other resources, which i don't really care, so far i enjoyed about 750K oil in discount, give or take, and i spent around 1000 crowns to spend up various stuff... not too bad, and i still have 6 more days to go.

I upgraded my walls from lvl 13 to lvl 15 during this event. All of them. Lots of other individual upgrades, too. And I just went CW age. Very good event.

Made the move to EA. Now to wait for Summer of the Ages, so I can move to IA.

Made good progress on all three of my bases.
Loved the event.
The extension of the discount period for each age to two weeks (except the first one) was a very welcome move.
The progressive resource production boosts probably made the events a lot more sustainable.
Overall, a great event, and thanks to Nexon for running these winter discounts!

Agree that this was a very good event. I went EA before the event starts and start upgraded some troops before the event. I upgraded a bunch of things from the EA and took advantage of the event to go to IA without having to wait. Using the event I was able to upgrade all my main offensive upgrades and a bunch more. The only things that remained to be done and that I would like to have a bit more time to:
- 2 levels missing for the Factory
- 1 level missing for the airstrip
- 1 level missing for the Fort
- 2 barracks left to upgrade

Despite that I think I took the advantages of the event as much as possible, considering I went from full GP to IA within 2 weeks. In the meanwhile I am almost finishing the barracks lefts and 1 more level for the factory. From now on I will focus a bit on the defensive building to keep you guys away from my oil.

Really hope Nexon continues to do events like this from time to time - maybe only summer now. Really enjoyed it. Thanks Nexon!

Went from lvl 10/11 walls to lvl 15. Both factories from lvl 4 to lvl 7. Strike fighter 4 to 6. HT 2 to 4 and bazooka to elite bazooka.

My airstrip/castle/bunkers/silo were already maxed atomic.

Nexon is very magnanimous like that. Gives us this game AND allows us to complain about it.

Yeah alot of sleepless nights. Now I can just raid every few days for war, research, and upgrades. No more pushing walls night after night.

Bonus is I finally got a handle on dealing with silos with that raiding.
