Wow seriously people love to complain, give it some time. Since the first days when i got smaller gifts, i've gotten trade good sets with 1-2 diamonds, a few training blessing / weapons / useless animal blessing - things that cost diamonds or are trade goods. Yes the 20,000 extra gold is a small little drop, but the diamond blessings and trade goods are well...a blessing =) It's a nice little FREE gift

I have gotten 6 training blessings and 7 animal blessings so far, as well as many of the other blessings I find to be less important. I think it's a great event.

The great thing is that you receive blessings yet to be unlocked, so on my 2nd account, which is MA, I have received a training blessing and storage blessing. The extra trade goods have been nice too so it has been a good event.

Some rewards may seem small, but seriously what are some of you expecting? Like people are saying, its a free gift. You cant really expect 50 crowns or 50k gold. It's a christmas event in the spirit of giving, nothing to be taken too seriously.

Welcome to the forums. While I'm thankful for the event, it does seem pretty mediocre when you compare it to random promotions in the past that weren't tied to any holiday. I guess many players assumed there'd be some sort of event for Christmas and were hoping it be larger than events in the past.

I personally didn't care for any resources or crowns and would have preferred something like a simple but special Christmas decoration for my base. Other games unlock a unique Christmas costume or Clash of Clans gives out a different Christmas Tree each year to put on your base. Some sort of keepsake would have been much more memorable than resources but that's my opinion.

The bonus wasnt for the forests, it was for those little trees that spring up periodically around your village (unless thats what u meant).
